The oldest remaining structure in the valley

Built around 1890 as part of the original Moonbah pastoral run, The Hut is a rare piece of High Country history - thick slab-timber walls, a corrugated iron roof, and the unmistakable smell of mountain ash and wood smoke. Carefully restored to preserve its heritage character while adding modern comforts. This is a place for couples, writers, and anyone seeking the deep quiet of the valley.
